About CoeCoe Beaches, Inc.

      CoeCoe Beaches, Inc. was started in October 2003 by myself, Karie Coe, a retired from corporate America mother of 3 school aged children wrestling with what is “next”. My mission as a parent (I can not shake the MBA training) is to raise happy, charitable, and self-sufficient children. But I also feel a calling to look outside of my fairly comfortable suburban life and try to make the world a little more happy, charitable, and self-sufficient (HCSS).

     While celebrating turning 40 in Las Vegas (do you see a middle-age “what does my life mean” theme going on?), I saw a coconut buckle in a beachwear kiosk. I had no idea how to deal with my newly emerging eye wrinkles, but I discovered a way to keep my swimsuit wrap on!

     Having a strong faith in God, for several months I had been asking Him to show me what is “next”. How can I maintain a flexible schedule for my kids (happy), start saving a little money for their college (self-sufficient), and give back to the world in which I have been so blessed (charity). Possible answer? Market beautiful sarongs and ingenious coconut buckles!

     This is how CoeCoe Beaches, Inc. began. Thanks to my supportive husband, Greg, who encouraged me to dig into our savings, we are live!

     I expanded into a few more categories, all unique items for women. So when you need something "different" for that girlfriend, mother, or daughter who is hard to shop for, check out CoeCoe Beaches!

      My promise is to donate 15% of total sales to groups that specifically support the “HCSS” mission. My hope is to donate even more, but I feel comfortable with these numbers. Groups that have received donations:

      * The Smile Train: a group that trains doctors to provide cleft palate surgeries in third world countries;

      * El Porvenir: an organization dedicated to building safe water systems in Nicaragua where many people have parasites from drinking unsafe water, or kidney problems from not drinking enough water since they fear it is unsafe;

      * World Vision: an organization that fights world hunger. What is great about this organization, is that for every $1 an individual donates, the US government donates $4.

     So check out our selections, enjoy your fun purchases, and remember you have helped contribute to CoeCoe Beaches “HCSS“ mission.

     We have over 130 handmade sarongs and half sarongs to choose from. Check out our unique coconut shell buckles used to tie sarongs in ways that are flattering to every body type (see "how to"). All sarongs are 100% rayon, made by Indonesian artists, and machine washable (cold water, line dry). Sarongs and half sarongs allow you to go from beach/pool to shopping/the bar/a restaurant, covering everything you want to cover in a stylish way. With our selection of sarongs and half sarongs, we have a pattern for any swim suit! A woman (men wear sarongs too!) either wants to cover or accent certain body parts. Sarongs and half sarongs allow you to do both! Looking for a gift idea for that hard to shop for friend, sister, mother? CoeCoe Beaches provides unique, inexpensive gift ideas. Along with our sarongs and half sarongs, check out our handmade jewelry pouches and popular Sunny Hawaii purses and handbags.
